The greeter calendar is now available for you to reserve a Mountain Dell greeter spot. One 3.5-hour greeting is required for each skier you have in the program.

This is how you do it:

October is a great time to grab the skate rollerskis to head up City Creek Canyon- there isn't as much traffic to worry about so your workout is totally uninterupted, plus it's beautiful and cold which helps keep you from getting as sweaty when you're struggling up one of the steeper pitches aroud mile 2.3.

On the Comp Team, we use the canyon as an opportunity to get a great specific strength (legs) workout in while at the same time focusing on proper technique and body... read more

On June 9 the TUNA van, stuffed with skiers and gear, took off from Salt Lake on an eleven hour journey to Bend, Oregon. TUNA’s Matt Johnson and University of Utah graduate Zoë Roy led the trip as coaches to the group of six TUNA comp skiers. I am sure that all who went on the trip would agree that we had a blast! From our activities ranging from skiing to cliff jumping to having dance parties in the kitchen, it was a very memorable trip.

On September 4th our Junior Dryland programs started back up for athletes aged 8-19.  This year we are continuing to build on the success of the Fall Comp and Fall Jr. Comp programs by integrating them more closely together so the younger athletes get to see the focus and intensity that the older athletes bring to their training and the older Comp athletes get an opportunity to lead and inspire the Jr. Compers.  The Jr. Comp team has also started more regular rollerski workouts;... read more
