NOTE: White Pine now has a 7K loop packed on their farm course, so we'll be able to hold Saturday's race there. Yahoo!
A 20-kilometer free technique (skate) race, three laps around most of the White Pine Farm course. Novices, older juniors, and older adults will ski one or two laps. Shorter distances for younger juniors.
Registration is from 8:30 to 9:30 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, just north of the farm. (When coming from Salt Lake, turn right off SR-224 on White Pine Canyon Road about a half mile beyond The Canyons, then a quick left into the church parking lot.) Younger juniors and sit skiers start at 10:00, and adults at about 10:20 after those groups have finished. Lunch is served after the race, compliments of Jeff Scott and Intermountain Bobcat, followed by awards and prize drawings.
Important reminder: Access to the farm track from the church is only allowed on the morning of the race. The land owner has informed us that if people climb over his fence, it will jeopardize the lease of his property in future years. Please respect his wishes!
