Wasatch Citizens Series #4
At Soldier Hollow,
Saturday, Feb. 11th
All Ages Can Race in the Citizens Races
The WCS race on Saturday is a 10-kilometer free technique (skate) event with start and finish in the stadium at Soldier Hollow. With the warm weather of the past few days, we'll be skiing a loop that includes some of the trails with manmade snow that were used in the World Junior Championships last week. Registration will be in the Day Lodge from 8:30 to 9:30. Younger juniors and sit skiers start at 10:00, and adults at about 10:20 after the others have finished. Lunch will be served in the lodge after the race, compliments of Nate Wade Subaru. Season pass holders, and those who've skied all four races this year, will be able to pick up their Smartwool shirts after the race in the basement of the lodge. Wasatch Citizens Series Looking
It appears that our wonderful Smartwool sponsorship will end after this winter.
With that in mind, we're looking for a new top level sponsor. If anyone has any ideas on that subject, please contact Dave Hanscom (801-550-1777). It has to be a "neutral" company that's not too closely related to the cross country ski business. We don't want to drive away any of our other loyal donors.
Thank You Volunteers
