We received heavy rain from trailhead to elbow fork but was able to put in somewhat a classic track. Conditions from elbow fork to big water are excellent. received a couple of new inches of snow above elbow fork a little icy below elbow fork. |

Groomed and set track this morning using the snowcat. Conditions from trailhead to elbow fork was wet(rain) and warm exposing the ice layer underneath. Snow was real wet and compactable from elbow fork to big water. Should help in setting up good base. |

Well, there was enough snow it turns out to groom today. Conditions were not favorable for setting a good classic track from trailhead to elbow fork but track was good from elbow up. Good skating conditions. |

Mill Creek got enough snow, maybe 3-4", to cover the icy road and make for a quite skiable experience on Saturday. Enough people were out to effectively self-groom for both classic and skate skiing well past Elbow Fork. Enjoy! |
