The cat crew put down some nice grooming on the transfer tow area. It's in good shape...better shape than us. |
| 11/05/11 | patrickm | Collins and Wildcat |
Good soft snow off wildcat and collins for 3 runs. The transfer tow area is not corduoroy, but it is good and firm and covered well for some skating and ski set kicking....get out and stay out! |
| 10/08/11 | patrickm | Purple kick up Albion |
It was pretty good purple kick and glide on a "Michelin" track up Albion. Above that, on Supreme there were good soft turns to me made. |

| 11/11/10 | patrickm | Got a Germ called skiing |

| 10/31/10 | konradt | Alta Choose Wisely |
Saturday was great for Skate. Sunday was not. Classic no wax/fish scales was the way to go Sunday. Take your rock quiver if you’ve got it and keep an open mind on what technique will be best Coverage is good cat packing (hard to call it grooming) is erratic at best. New snow had fallen Saturday night and flurries persisted all day Sunday. |
| 10/29/10 | steves | good skating at transfer tow at Alta |
Pat Mcewen and I skated the transfer tow at Alta Friday. Conditions were very good for early season, with only a few rocks and dirt patches showing through. Pat had found new grooming when he started. It was warm, close to 50F by early afternoon. |
