About Ogden Nordic
Ogden Nordic is a community based, not for profit Nordic ski club for all ages and abilities with the goal of providing Nordic ski education, development, and coaching for the Ogden Region. Ogden Nordic is a chapter of the The Utah Nordic Alliance (TUNA), sharing knowledge and resources to benefit the expansion and development of Nordic Skiing opportunities in Ogden and the surrounding communities.
Originally founded as a junior racing club in 1997 by Paul Stromberg, Ogden Nordic has expanded in 2002 to become a chapter of The Utah Nordic Alliance. The club has also expanded into the development of senior and masters training groups. These components of the club round out the goal of having lifetime development, growth, and support of Nordic skiers in the Ogden region. This also offers the opportunity for developing ski skills to off-season cyclists and runners expanding their off-season training options.
Ogden Nordic Masters Team
The Ogden Nordic Masters group is fun, challenging, as competitive as you make it and certainly addictive. Come on out and ski as fast as you want, dare, or can on a closed course that's all yours! Watch some folks ski amazingly well, then emulate them. Find someone of your same ability and bet them a beer on your run. Discover the true capabilities of your hot new skis.
Ogden Nordic Organizational Board and Coaches
In the past year several new coaches have moved into the Ogden region, which has allowed the expansion of the club. For this year, Ogden Nordic will have several coaches working with the team. Each of the coaches brings a wealth of knowledge to the team.
