TUNA skiing programs for kids

The primary objective of the Salt Lake Nordic Ski Team (SLNST) is to promote cross country skiing opportunities for kids in the Salt Lake area, with an emphasis on fun, fitness and skill building, through age appropriate practice groups for skiers of all levels, from novice skiers to advanced racers. In furthering this mission, the SLNST offers the following programs:

Winter Program Volunteer Deposits

  • Youth League, Touring Programs, X-Team - $50 refundable deposit included in program fee, 6 hours of volunteer required for deposit refund.
  • Competition Team, Junior Competition Team Winter programs - $250 refundable deposit included in the program fee), 15 hours of volunteer required for deposit refund. In addition, all parents are required to spend one day as a Mtn Dell Greeter.
  • Learn to Ski – all parents are required to be available during the lessons to help out as needed.
